July 2023 Water Trial
July 29 @ 8:00 am – July 31 @ 5:00 pm
PNWPWDC Deep Lake water trial will be held Sunday July 30- Monday July 31, 2023 at Nolte State Park, Enumclaw, WA. Lorie Crouch is judge.
This two-day water trial will be held in accordance with the provisions of the current Portuguese Water Dog Club of America (PWDCA) water trial manual and updates, copies of which may be downloaded at no charge from the PWDCA website.
Depending on entries, the Sunday trial may be held as one trial over two days, with one class being held in the afternoon on Saturday July 29. We will not know for sure if this will be necessary, or what class will be held on Saturday until after the lottery date.
Water practice session
This year we plan to offer a practice session on Saturday, to be held before the possible trial class is run (if needed.) Space in the practice session is limited, and is by prior signup only. Check back for more info.
Premium list, trial entry deadlines, and PerfDog information will be posted here in May. Check back for updates.
Summer is a very busy time of year. If you even think you want to attend the trial and need overnight accommodations, please make your reservations ASAP. You can cancel if you end up not needing them, but space may not be available if you wait.
Kanaskat-Palmer state park is nice but fills very rapidly. https://parks.state.wa.us/527/Kanaskat-Palmer
Another option is the RV park at the Enumclaw Expo center. Facilities are not luxe, but it’s right at the Expo center with easy access to town and the trial site.
