Volunteer Signup
Volunteers are the foundation of our water trials, and our events can’t happen without your help. Please sign up to volunteer– there are loads of jobs available and no experience is needed for many of them. Plus, if you volunteer, you may sign up for the Practice session on Saturday July 29. Thanks!
Water Practice Signup
This year we plan to offer a volunteer practice session on Saturday, to be held after site set-up and before the trial class is run (if needed.) Space in the practice session is limited, and available only by signing up for the practice lottery after you have completed volunteer form. Entries limited to 2 dogs per handler. Practice lottery signup will open on June 10 at 10:00 AM and close on June 16 at 11:59 PM. Lottery for practice time will be held after June 16 and you will be notified via email if you have a confirmed spot. You will then have 72 hours to pay your $15 practice fee (see Pay for Water Practice below. There will be no refunds for practice, but if you want to withdraw, please notify the trial secretary so your spot may be assigned to a person on the waitlist.
After you receive email confirmation of your practice spot, proceed to payment:
Sunday Dinner Following the Trial
Please join up for dinner at the water trial site immediately following the trial on Sunday July 30, 2023. All are welcome to attend, whether or not you are trialing! Please sign up in advance so we can plan accordingly. Cost is $5 per person.
Water Fowl Frenzy Fundraiser
In lieu of a raffle at this year’s July water trial, we are planning a WATER FOWL FRENZY fundraiser. You’ll get a ducky with your entry, and additional ducks are available to purchase on site. The WATER FOWLS will be set loose in the lake on Monday and dogs selected by lottery will be used to retrieve them. You could be one of three lucky winners!

Accommodations
Summer is a very busy time of year. If you even think you want to attend the trial and need overnight accommodations, please make your reservations ASAP. You can cancel if you end up not needing them, but space may not be available if you wait.
Camping
Kanaskat-Palmer state park is nice but fills very rapidly. https://parks.state.wa.us/527/Kanaskat-Palmer
Another option is the RV park at the Enumclaw Expo center. Facilities are not luxe, but it’s right at the Expo center with easy access to town and the trial site.
